<p>Rivers and streams are currently running at high levels due to the recent rainfall activity, and should be considered dangerous. Please be advised that the Weather Office is forecasting the potential for additional isolated thunderstorms and rain showers continuing through this evening. These potential rainfall amounts may cause flooding of low-lying areas, and also create street flooding and sewer surcharging. Please continue to exercise caution when driving and avoid low-lying roadways and underpasses.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The TRCA will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will issue an update or cancellation to this Advisory by 10:00 am on Monday, July 27, 2009.</p>

Please be advised that the Weather Office is predicting additional showers and thunderstorms throughout the day on Sunday. These rainfall amounts may again result in flooding of low-lying areas, and also create street flooding and sewer surcharging. Due to the potential for flooding, a Flood Advisory remains in effect.</p>

<p align="justify">The Greater Toronto Area has already received approximately 30 mm of rainfall over the past two days. The forecasted precipitation amounts may result in higher flows and water levels in all our ponds, rivers and streams, creating dangerous conditions.</p>

<p align="justify">Please exercise caution around all bodies of water and alert any children under your care of these dangers.</p>

<p align="justify">Toronto and Region Conservation advises that significant amounts of rainfall are being Toronto &amp; Region Conservation advises that significant amounts of rainfall has been forecasted by the Weather Officer. Between 20 and 30 mm is forecasted to fall overnight with the potential for thunderstorm activity. Additional rainfall, with forecast amounts between 30 to 50 mm, is expected throughout the day on Thursday.</p>
<p>Given the forecasted rainfall amounts, it is expected that water levels in all our ponds, rivers and streams will be high and flow rates will increase, creating dangerous conditions. Please exercise caution around all bodies of water and alert any children under your care of these dangers. </p>
<p align="justify">This High Water Safety Bulletin will be in effect through Friday, July 24, 2009.</p>
